A rosary with Bishop Kasabucki held at the Mission

Children from Belarus joined the world movement “A million children pray the rosary”. Several dozen people prayed for peace and unity around the world.

During his welcoming speech, Bishop Jury Kasabucki encouraged to pray especially for “people living in countries where there are wars, as well as for all those who suffer from coronavirus and for a sooner ending to the pandemic.”

“So that we no longer have to wear these masks,” the hierarch added with a smile.

The bishop presented the Social Centre with a rosary he received from parishioners from Novaja Baravaja in Minsk. “A father and son gave it to me, they made it with their own hands. They asked me to hand it over to those who would pray on it,” the vicar of the Minsk-Mahiliou archdiocese said.

At the end of the prayer, Bishop Jury thanked everyone for the prayer and called to pray for peace and tranquility among Belarusians. “Let’s look for what unites us,” he added.

After the rosary, everyone present gathered for warm tea and cookies.
