A big carnival took place before Lent

On Thursday, February 20, the Christian Social Centre held a celebration before the start of Lent. Traditionally there were dances, competitions and treats.

Parents and children prepared many costumes, such as knights, doctors, sailors, fairies, supermen and many other heroes spent their time in the great hall.

Next Wednesday, Lent begins, a time of suffering in the Catholic Church.
