A carver from Hlybokaje has come to the summer camp!

The carver Viktar Dudkevič from Hlybokae came to the Good Samaritan mission to share his knowledge with the children of the “Vacation with God” camp.

The master is engaged in the revival of an ancient toy and has created a large number of wooden toys. The carver also made copies of a printed workbench and even a wooden bicycle! He brought some toys and a small printed workbench to show the young participants of the meeting. It was very interesting for the children to hear about the History of toys and the traditions of their manufacture, the history of writing and the beginning of printing, as well as to play with wooden toys, pee on wax tablets and work on a mini-workbench. Such meetings are extremely important for children, as they develop intellectually and creatively, promote interest in their native culture and traditions.
