Artist Nadya Buka held a master class at the summer camp

Nadya Buka – an artist, writer, designer, illustrator and teacher – visited the children at the summer camp “Vacations with God”  to hold a master class on drawing an angel. It turned out to be not so easy! What does an angel look like? What are his wings? What color is it? The children started with the fact that “I can’t draw an angel” and ended with the fact that everyone had a portrait of their own beautiful angel! Nadya helps children draw and at the same time teaches them kindness, as well as believing in miracles and creating their own magical universes.

Nadya Buka is the creator of her personal mythology, embodied in fairy-tale characters that live in books and paintings. These are primarily Piglases, Bublases and Miglases. Piglases are creatures with one big blue eye, with wings and very kind. A creative meeting with Nadya Buka took place in the Christian Social Center in January, when the children read her books together with the writer.
