Celebration of St. Urshulya Ledukhouskaya in Mission of the Good Samaritan

On May 29, the Catholic Church remembers the great saint who dedicated her life to raising children, St. Urshulya Ledukhouskaya.

At the Mission of the Good Samaritan, the Holy Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Tadevuš Kandrusievič. During the homily, the hierarch reflected on the life and activities of the patroness of our Mission, as well as on her charisma, which continues to endure in the Church. The archbishop emphasized that the Christian upbringing of children and youth, which the sisters and employees of the Good Samaritan Mission take care of, is a strong foundation built on Christ. At the end of the Eucharist, the Archbishop presented the Mission with an Evangelism and a watch. In the next part of the celebration, an inclusive performance about the life of St. Urshulya Ledukhouskaya. It was unusual that the actors in the performance were children visiting the Mission, educators, as well as persons with limited health opportunities from the Samaritan community. The holiday was combined with the end of the catechetical year, so the graduates of the Mission also received diplomas and gifts.

Saint Ursula, pray for us!
