On September 2, the 225th anniversary of the founding of the historical Minsk Roman Catholic Diocese was celebrated in the Cathedral Church of the Name of the Blessed Virgin Mary. During the celebration, a historical symposium, a presentation of the coat of arms of the Minsk-Mahilyow archdiocese, the archdiocese website and a jubilee postage stamp, as well as an award ceremony were held.​

Archbishop Tadevush Kandrusevich was awarded the first certificate of honor. In addition to the honored hierarch, representatives of the Catholic media, employees of charitable organizations, participants of prayer movements and evangelistic communities, scientists and researchers, creators of museums and active parishioners who serve the Church with various gifts received certificates on behalf of the Metropolitan of Minsk-Mahilyow Archbishop Yuzaf Stanewski.

The team of the Charitable Mission of the Good Samaritan under the patronage of St. Ursula Leduhowskaya was awarded a certificate of honor for their great contribution to the formation and development of the Roman Catholic Church in the Minsk-Mahilyow Metropolis.
