The Mission of the Good Samaritan was visited by children from the Barysaw Parish of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The parish takes care that the youth not only rest summer, but also develop spiritually. Of course, it is very interesting for children to travel and see life in different cities and churches. They are very happy that they had the opportunity to come to Minsk, see the beautiful building of the Christian Social Center and get acquainted with the activities of the Mission. Holy Mass was held in the chapel, which was celebrated by Father Pavel Fedarovich MIC. The group’s guardians were the Eucharistic Sisters. It is known that the founder of the Congregation of Sisters Servants of Jesus in the Eucharist was Yury Matulevich. The children were interested in the fact that the relics of four saints are kept in the chapel of the Christian Social Center: St. John Paul II, St. Pius X, St. Stanislau Papchynsky, and Blessed Yury Matulevich.
In the library, visitors “traveled” together with Frantsishak Skaryna on the map of Europe and found out where he was born, studied and printed. This whole journey was connected with Skaryna’s main business – the printing of the Bible books. The result of library meeting was new knowledge, good mood and bright portraits of the first printer created by children.
