On February 7, the first cyber football tournament among altar servers of the Minsk-Mahiloŭ Archdiocese took place at the Christian Social Center.

The event began with Holy Mass led by Metropolitan Archbishop Juzaf Stanieŭski, with Archbishop Tadevuš Kandrusievič, the altar servers’ pastoral leader in the archdiocese, Father Alaksandr Šymanski, and chaplain of the Good Samaritan Mission, Father Alaksandr Šymanski MIC, also praying together.

After the Eucharist, tournament participants were divided into groups to compete. Everyone had the opportunity to choose their favorite football team to compete for victory in FIFA on PlayStation.

After the qualifying round, the participants enjoyed refreshments.
In a competitive struggle, altar servers from the parish of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint John the Evangelist, and the Good Samaritan Mission competed. Hierarchs present at the event also tried their hand in the cyber tournament.

Altar servers from our Mission won one gold and two silver medals.

The participants were very satisfied with the time spent together, so we hope that similar events will take place more often.
