Mother’s Day Celebration at the Centre (+MANY PHOTOS)
On Monday, October 14th, mothers of our pupils gathered at the Centre for Mother’s Day celebration.
It started with a prayer and a meeting with Father Aliaksandr Shamrycki. He remembered all the mothers who where announced saint by Catholic church. He pointed out that “mothers have to seek God’s will, but not their own or their children’s. This is universal. Ten commandments prove the natural values in people”. “I wish you have wisdom as your best friend throughout all your lives”, — added he.
A short prayer followed the meeting. Each child brought a candle to the altar as a symbol of gratitude to their mother. Everyone sang “Mother of Christ” and the mothers could not hold back tears.
The next part of the celebration was a programme prepared by our children. They sang danced, recited poems and had a dessert together.
