New Academic Year with God’s Blessing

On September 3, the Holy Mass was held on the occasion of the beginning of the academic and catechetical year.
In front of the altar, children and adults thanked God for the spent summer vacation, asked for the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the desire for knowledge, the desire to know the beauty of the world created by God. Together they prayed to the intentions of students, teachers and catechists for the spiritual fruits of the new academic year. The priest reminded the children and adults that in all difficult moments one should not forget about a reliable friend and teacher – Jesus Christ, who wants to support everyone with his help. According to tradition, the Holy Mass ended with the blessing of the schoolchildren, the consecration of textbooks and school supplies. The catechetical year will soon begin, and children are now being registered for catechetical classes.
