Prayer Meeting on Eve of Saints Cyril and Methodius Day

On February 10, an event took place at the Mission, the center of which was a synaxis – a communal prayer, in which bishops and priests of the Roman and Byzantine rite took part.

During the prayer, the consecration of the icon of Saints Cyril and Methodius took place, which was performed by the Apostolic Nuncio Ante Jozić. Archimandrite Syarhei Hayek handed over this icon to the Mission of the Good Samaritan under the patronage of Saint Ursula Ledukhowskaya. The icon will take a place of honor in the chapel of the Christian Social Center.

At the end of the service, wishes were made on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of His Excellency Archimandrite Syarhei Hayek. Nuncio Ante Jozić handed him a papal medal and a rosary – gifts from Pope Francis to the hierarch.
