On May 11-12, a Christian hackathon will be held in Navahrudak for the first time, where participants will develop projects on the border of IT and Christianity. A hackathon is a competition where specialists from the field of information technology unite in teams to solve a problem or create a new project in a limited time.
The theme of this year’s hackathon is the new evangelization. The new evangelization does not consist of the preaching of a new message. We are talking about returning to the first love; so that we can once again experience the joy of the presence and closeness of God’s love in our lives.
According to Pope Francis
The organizers invite to join the hackathon professionals who participate in the development cycle of an IT product (developers, designers, analysts) and want to use their skills to spread the Kingdom of God.
You can register with your team or individually, with or without a project idea. After the registration is completed, the organizers will form teams and propose project ideas. Registration lasts until May 1, then the following stages await the participants:
Applications are accepted until May 1.
Formation of teams – until May 5.
Work on the project – May 12.
Departure to Navahrudak – May 11-12.
The final departure will take place at the parish of St. Archangel Michael in Navahrudak, where the participants will have a rich program with conferences, prayer, joint rest, as well as the main point – the presentation of the jury’s projects.
Winners will receive a prize, all participants will receive project launch knowledge and practice, feedback from mentors, inspiration and an incredible weekend!
