Ryhor Baradulin’s 90th Birthday

On February 26, the Christian Social Center hosted a meeting on the occasion of the birthday of the venerable Belarusian poet and translator Ryhor Baradulin. On February 24, 2025, he could be 90 years old. The poet Pimien Pančanka called him a wizard of a word from Ušačy. A national poet who had a talent of God’s grace spoke so right about Baradulin.

The literary heritage left by our famous countryman gave a chance to organize the meeting for sincere poetry fans. The meeting was held in a warm and cosy atmosphere. Guests read poems and sang songs on the poet’s works, prayed for the memory of Ryhor Baradulin.
