Skaryna in Vilnius Calendar Presentation Took Place

On February 12, 2025, the Christian Social Center presented the Skaryna in Vilnius Calendar. The calendar was dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the book Apostle.The Apostle is the first precisely dated book in Belarusian history. It came out in March 1525. Researchers and creators, including the author of the calendar Mikoła Kupava, took part in the conversation about Francišak Skaryna. Aleś Suša voiced the versions of why, for unknown reasons, Francišak Skaryna stopped his publishing activity.
Archbishop Tadevuš Kandrusievič spoke his word about the famous Balarusian enlightener. Archimandrite Siarhiej Hajek, Apostolic Administrator for Greek Catholics of Belarus told about the importance of F. Skaryna for all Christian denominations.

The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere and corresponded to Skaryna’s words “The most expensive treasures are human words inspired by God and the expelled to God”.
