Smile Fairy Visits Summer Camp

On June 7, the Library of the Charity Mission of the Good Samaritan was full of noise and fun! The kids, along with Smile Fairy, went on a book journey. They were reading the philosophical story “The Puddle that Became the Sun” by Alyaksandr Blinou. Smile Fairy, Tatsiana Krytskaya, the actress and creator of the interactive theater “Arbour for Reading”, presented a dramatized reading about an unusual puddle that was able to see the beauty of the outside world, wonder and dream.

A puddle after rain is such an ordinary thing! People do not think that there can be special puddles. The puddle of the story was exactly like that. It turned into the one which stopped nearby and looked into the puddle. At first it was a dog, then a cat and a crow. One day the sun looked into the puddle and … under the warm sun rays it began to evaporate and finally disappeared. But when there is love in one`sheart, miracles happen!

This philosophical, positive and kind book, as well as different games based on it, were very useful for all the young pilgrims attending the summer camp “Pilgrim is a Creative Person”.

What to do when it`s raining but there are not enough umbrellas for everyone. Why is it so important not to lose optimisms and your smile? What to do to support your friend? The participants of the meeting were thinking over trying to find the answers.
