On June 5, we started a summer camp by the title “Pilgrim is a Creative Person”. During the next 10 days the participants will take part in different interactive classes, interesting meetings and journeys.
The main topic of this June camp shift is “What is a pilgrimage?” Every day step by step the kids will be searching for the answer and learning what it is like to be a pilgrim. The pilgrim is a person who prays and support the neighbors, sacrifices and rejoices, sings and admires the beauty of this world, cares about cheerfulness and health.
The first day of the camp started with Holy Mass. On June 5, the Church celebrated the Memorial St. Boniface, who preached the Gospel and set diocesan boundaries. It`s interesting that when St. Boniface was 40, he got into scientific activity creating the first written English grammar. St. Boniface was consecrated as a bishop, and 10 year later he became an archbishop and the Vicar of the Pope in German.
Can a book unite? For sure, if it is interesting, beautiful, teaching and turns into a theatrical performance. On the first day of the camp shift the members of the theater “Karobka (A Box)”, Veranika Famina and Dasha Biruk, presented a breath-taking theatrical story “Beautiful Garden”.
The summer camp has just started, while so many interesting events already took place. Read more information about the next camp shifts that will follow. Every new one has its own interesting and unique program.
