Theatrical readings were held at the library of the Mission. The children listened to the book “Fanechka. Mandarin Story” by Aksana Arakcheeva. They also drew the characters of the book and created a theatrical production. The result was a garland performance based on the book, where everyone became an active participant. Reading together and discussing what has been read in the initial period of becoming a reader help children to see a work of art not only as a source of information, but also as a source of pleasure and joy.
Young readers love to spend time at the Mission library. Constant contact with the book actively forms reading skills and creative abilities. Theatrical readings are used to encourage reading and expand knowledge of classic and contemporary works. Theatrical readings do not require costumes, scenery or memorizing texts. The improvised theatrical production was performed without rehearsals and was realized thanks to the initiative and interest of the children themselves.
All the photos of the theatrical readings can be viewed in the album.
