With God for Belarus. Sacrificial Service of Priests in the First Half of the 20th Century

On April 3, 2024, an exposition dedicated to the majestic figures of the Belarusian Catholic Church will open in the Christian Social Center.

At the exhibition With God for Belarus (about the Sacrificial Service of Priests in the First Half of the 20th Century) the focus will be on such persons as Adam Stankievič, Kazimir Svajak (Stapovič), Andrej Ziaziula (Astramovič), Česłaŭ Sipovič, Jazep Hiermanovič and many others. Some priests of other Christian denominations are also mentioned in the exhibition space.

Numerous rarities at the exhibition testify to the conditions in which those who devoted themselves to God and the Motherland spent their difficult service. As the priest Andrej Ziaziula (Alaksandr Astramovič) noted in his poem:

And although my way

thorn bushes covered

And a thorn prickly to hear

under a weak leg

All the same, my spirit rises

on the wing

And tears away into the distance

to the Holy Idea.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on April 3. The event starts at 18.00. We invite everyone. Address: Minsk, Christian Social Center, str. Serafimovich, 19.
