World Day of the Sick at Our Mission

On February 11, a celebration was held at the Good Samaritan Mission for World Day of the Sick. This day is special for us because at the Christian Social Center, we prioritize people in need, the sick, and those with limited developmental opportunities.

The celebration began with a Eucharist, combined with the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick.

The second part of the event was prepared by members of the Samaritan community of our Center. As part of the activities that take place every week for adults and youth with health limitations, the community members staged a performance based on Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s work, The Little Prince.

The performers captivated the audience with their charisma and acting skills. They managed to convey the profound meaning of the Little Prince’s journey and made them ponder what is most important, yet can only be seen with the heart.

We are very grateful to all the benefactors and those who support people with disabilities who visit our Mission. Thanks to You, there is less indifference, loneliness, and suffering in the world.
